After watching and now processing this whole discussion I think the biggest point made here is an old one. Dualism vs Monoism. In Mlodinow's view he sees mathamatics not as divine but a human-generated system to understand the observable world. As they said in the beginning people who watch this will have their convictions confirmed. For me my conviction that all human ideas are exactly that made by humans for humans is reinforced. I am a more-informed secular humanist for watching this. I wonder if there are dualists out there that have their metaphysical views reinforced by this?
