Free Community College in the US?

On Thursday January 8th President Obama announced a proposal to make the first two years of community college free for anyone who is willing to work for it. This plan is marvelous for so many reasons. It will serve to further diversify the workforce, make for a more informed electorate, and drive the economy. Here's hoping for the follow-through.
